where;

  • m = the rate of completing calls per hour,
  • b( y-intercept) = the initial number of calls when x = 0.

Since the customer service can complete 150 calls in each hour, then the slope (m) = 150.

Thus; f(x) = y = mx + b

y = 150x + 0

y = 150x
