Answer: x=-1 x=-0.5

Explanation:

y=2x²

y=-3x-1

Hence,

2x²=-3x-1

2x²+3x+1=-3x-1+3x+1

2x²+3x+1=0

2x²+(2x+x)+1=0

(2x²+2x)+(x+1)=0

2x(x+1)+(x+1)=0

(x+1)(2x+1)=0

x+1=0

x+1-1=0-1

x=-1

2x+1=0

2x+1-1=0-1

2x=-1

Divide both parts of the equation by 2:

x=-0.5
