a solution is prepared by adding 5.414 g of agcl to 55.625 g of water. what is the mass/volume percent of the resulting solution? the density of water is 1.000 g/ml. assume the density of agcl is 1.000 g/ml. express your response to two digits after the decimal.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

first work out the mass

5.414 + 55.625 = 61.039

then use the equation volume = mass/ density

volume = 61.039/1.000

volume =61.039

volume = 61.04 (to2 d.p)

I'm not sure what you meant by mass/ volume but if it is mass divided by volume, carry on:

volume - 61.04

mass - 61.04

all right now I understand why it is written mass/volume -

they are the same value!
