1. x=4

2. x=6.4

Explanation:

To solve a standard equation like these you can simply divide the x's and y's by the answer. Like this:

8/2=4

and

8/3 =2.666

for the first one

So x would be equal to 4.

Then for the next just do the same

-32/6=-5.333

and

-32/-5=6.4

(two negatives make a positive)
