The slope of the line can be calculated using the two different points given as shown below;

The given points;

(72, 48) and (171, 114)

(43, 29) and (72, 48)

From the triangle drawn in the diagram, the slope of the line can be calculated using any of the triangles.

The formula for the slope of a line is given as;

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁)

Using these points; ((72, 48) and (171, 114), the slope is calculated as;

m = ( 114 - 48 ) / ( 171 - 72)

m = 66 / 99

m = 22 / 33

m = 2 / 3
