Why was Canada such a valuable property the brittain and France fought over it

Answer: Because France originally settled there. They settled there for fish, friends (Native Americans), and fur (Beaver fur). The British had just stormed in and taken eastern Canada, and kept it after the American Revolution. The French fought because they wanted their land back. The British fought because they were mad about losing the American Revolution.
