Answer:

$300.00

Explanation:

METHOD 1:

  • As there is 1000 milligrams in a kilogram we have to divide 1000 but 600 (this is because the question is asking us to find out how much 1 capsule would cost and there is 600 milligrams in 1 capsule)
  • The answer we get from that will be
    1.666... (recurring).
  • To find the cost we have to get 1.666... and divide it by 500, this will help us find how much it would cost for one capsule
  • 500 ÷ 1.666... (recurring) = 300

METHOD 2:

  • Another way of doing it is by finding 100 milligrams then multiplying it by 6.
  • To find the cost of 100 milligrams we simply have to divide 500 by 10. This because 1000 ÷ 100 = 10
  • 500 ÷ 10 = 50
  • Then we have to multiply the answer by 6
  • 50 × 6 = 300
  • And there we have it!!

Hope this helps, have a great day!!
