There is two function equations, f(x)=2x²+3x-4 and h(x)= -x²+8

If the input is f(1)+h(1), how exactly would I solve this

To solve f(1)+h(1) .....

plug in 1 for x in both equations f(x) and h(x):

f(1)=2(1)²+3(1)-4 = 2+3-4 = 1

h(1)= -(1)²+8 = -1+8 = 7

f(1)+h(1) = 1 + 7 = 8
