Given that Δ MTW = Δ BGK, Then;

∠M =∠B

∠T = ∠G

∠W = ∠K

In the diagram, ∠ M is unknown but ∠ B = 11y + 6

∠ T = ∠G

4x - 3 = 45

4x = 45 + 3

4x = 48

x = 48/4

x = 12

∠T = 4(12) - 3

∠T = 45°

The sum of angles in a triangle = 180°

∠M + ∠T + ∠W = 180

∠M + 45° + 41° = 180°

∠M = 180° - 86°

∠M = 94°

Recall that:

∠M =∠B

94 = 11y + 6

11y = 94 - 6

11y = 88

y = 88/11
