The value of x in the diagram is 157°

In circle geometry, different theorem guides how we solve a particular problem. Some of the theorems are;

1. Angle at the centre is twice the angle at the circumference.

2. Angles in the same segments are equal

3. angles substended from the diameter to the circumference is 90° . e.t.c

The angle adjascent to x is 23 ( angle in the same segment are equal)

x + 23 = 180( angles on a straight line)

x = 180 - 23

x = 157°
