Answer:

y- intercept (0, 14 )

Explanation:

the y- intercept is the point on the y- axis where the graph crosses it.

the x- coordinate of any point on the y- axis is zero

substitute x = 0 into the the function and solve for y , that is

y = 2(x - 3)² - 4 ( substitute x = 0 )

y = 2(0 - 3)² - 4 = 2(- 3)² - 4 = 2(9) - 4 = 18 - 4 = 14

the y- intercept is (0, 14 )
