2. Move the variable to the left-hand side and change its sign which will cause you to have 3 - 2m + 3m = 5

3. Move the constant to the right-hand side and change its sign which will leave you with -2m + 3m = 5 - 3

4. Collect like terms which will cause -2m + 3m to be m and 5 - 3 to be 2

5. Your answer is m = 2.
