Answer = 95

180-(u+(u-47)) = 180 - (u + 48)

180 - (u + 48) is the unknown angle in the triangle as angles on a straight line = 180

180-(u+(u-47)) is also the unknown angle in the triangle as total angles in a triangle add up to 180.

180-(u+(u-47)) = 180 - (u + 48)

180-(u+u-47) = 180 - (u + 48)

180-(2u-47)= 180 - (u + 48)

180-2u+47 = 180 - u - 48

227-2u = 132-u

227-132 = -u+2u

95 = u
