The bottom line of the upper left triangle and the top line of the lower right triangle appears to be a straight line. Similarly, the other line they share is straight.

Angle 2 is congruent to the 42° angle of the other triangle. This is because they are VERTICAL ANGLES.

The inner degree of any triangle is equal to 180°. The 3 angles must add to = 180. This is how you find the missing angles.
180 - 50 - 42 = 88°
180 - 42 - 25 = 113°
