The equations of the system are y = x/2 + 2 and

y = x/2 + 1.

How to find equation of a line from table of values

From table 1

Using points (0,2) and (-6,-1)

Slope = change in y/change in x

m = y₂ - y₁/x₂ - x1₁

m = -1-2/-6-0

m = -3/-6

= 1/2

Using slope -point form

y-y₁ = m(x-x₁)

Substitute point (-6,-1(

y+1 = 1/2(x+6)

y + 1 = x/2 +3

y = x/2 + 2

From table 2

Using points (0,1) and (2,2)

Slope = change in y/change in x

m = y₂ - y₁/x₂ - x₁

m = 2-1/2-0
