The length of a rectangle is 3ft less than twice the width, and the area of the rectangle is 77ft^(2). Find the dimensions of the rectangle.

Answer:length=11 and the width is 7

Explanation:

To find the area of a rectangle it’s widthxlength and the only numbers that make up 77 are 11 and 7 and 77and 1. So it would have to be 11 and 7 also if you plug it in (2(7)-3=11 and that works. Hope this helps <3
