A library had 32 shelves of books. The books were placed either on the right or left side of the shelves. Each shelf had 21 books. There were 301 books on the left, how many books were there on the right?

Answer:

there are books on the right

371

Explanation:

each shelves is 21

there are 32

books on the left 301

so the rest are on the right

21*32-301=371

so find how many are there and minus it by the books on the left side

21 * 32 - 301
