Explanation:

Find the slope of the line = Rise/Run.


(-3-6)/(-4-8) =
(-9)/(-12)

= 0.75 or 3/4.

Therefore, insert into point slope form using one of the corresponding points; (8, 6) for example;

Y-6 = 3/4(x-8)

= Y-6 = 3/4x-6

and simplify the equation;

Y = 3/4x + 0 also just Y = 3/4x.
