  3. Some of the roles music played in the lives of prehistoric and ancient people was for entertainment or religious purposes. The roles of music from then is similar to music's role today, music is still used as major forms of entertainment and is still used for some religious purposes.
  4. Musical notion helps people learn the music without hearing it. It helped the composers broaden their ability to create music.
  5. Medieval music was influenced by the Catholic Church. Medieval music was influenced by the chanting and singing of monks but was later on developed into a more harmonized and melodic sound.
