We have the equation of the line:


y+5=x+1

This line is written in slope-point form.

This correspond to a line with slope m = 1 that passes through point (-1.-5).

We can find another point of the line by giving x a value, like x = 4, and calculating the corresponding value of y:


\begin{gathered} y+5=x+1 \\ y+5=4+1 \\ y+5=5 \\ y=5-5 \\ y=0 \end{gathered}

Then we have another point at (4,0).
