Answer:this problem requires one to plug in the value given to the equation given. to find f(-1) the x in one side of the equation is replaced by a -1 therefore the x in the other side of the equation must also be replaced by (-1) so the answer is -3(-1) -8 = f(-1) = -5. -5 is the correct answer.
