Solution

For this case we have the following points:

(0,1) and (-3,3)

We can find the slope with this formula:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(3-1)/(-3-0)=-(2)/(3)

And we can find the intercept like this:

3 = -2/3 *(-3)+b

Solving for b we got:

b= 3-2=1

Then the equation would be:

y= -2/3x +1
