Solve the equation

\begin{gathered} 7-2n=n-14 \\ \text{Move 2n to right hand side of equation. When a number is moved to the other side of equation its sign changes} \\ 7=2n+n-14 \\ 7=3n-14 \\ \text{Move 14 to the left hand side of the equation} \\ 7+14=3n \\ 21=3n \\ \text{Divide both sides of equation by 3.} \\ (21)/(3)=(3n)/(3) \\ 7=n \end{gathered}

The value of n is 7.
