Im not the best at word problems please helpA recent survey showed that 105 full-time employees out of a sample of 500 did not use all of their vacation days last year. However, 124 of those studied expressed a desire for more vacation time. Based on this sample, if a full-time employee is chosen at random, what is the probability that he or she is content with the vacation allowance? Express your answer as a fraction in lowest terms or a decimal rounded to the nearest millionth.

We have a total of 500 emloyees, of which 105 did not use all their vacation days and 124 expressed a desire for more vacation time, therefore...


500-105-124=271

... 271 employes are content with the vacation allowance. Then, the probability is the following


P=(271)/(500)=0.542

Fraction in lowest terms: P = 271/500

answer in decimal rounded to the nearest millionth: 0.542000
