Check below, please.

1) Let's effectuate those multiplications noticing the dot

0.01*0.9=(1)/(100)*(9)/(10)=(9)/(1000)=0.009

Note that since we have3 zeros on the denominator we'll have 3 decimal places, similarly:

1 b.

0.9*0.12=\frac{_{}9}{10}*(12)/(100)=(108)/(100)=1.08

Notice that we can write those decimal numbers as fractions.

2 a.

0.04*0.4=(4)/(100)*(4)/(10)=(16)/(1000)=0.016

2 b.

0.7*0.2=_{}0.14

3 a.

0.06*0.4=\frac{_{}6}{100}*(4)/(10)=(24)/(1000)=0.024

3 b.

0.1*1.1=\frac{_{}1}{10}*(11)/(10)=(11)/(100)=0.11

4 a.

0.4*0.11=\frac{_{}4}{10}*(11)/(100)=(44)/(1000)=0.044

4 b.

0.07*0.1=_{}0.007

5 a.

0.7*1.2=_{}0.84

5 b.

0.2*0.05=_{}0.01
