we have the slope-point form

we have the slope m and one point (0,b), if we clear y we will obtain the slope-intercept form

\begin{gathered} y-b=m(x-0) \\ y-b=mx \\ y=mx+b \end{gathered}

so we obtain the slope-intercept form of the line that is

y=mx+b
