To find the product we need to remember the following rules:

a^na^m=a^(n+m)

and

(a^n)^m=a^(nm)

With this in mind:

\begin{gathered} (-5a^2)^3a^5=(-5)^3(a^2)^3a^5 \\ =-125a^6a^5 \\ =-125a^(11) \end{gathered}
