What is the percent rate of change of the function f(x) = (1.15)*x? Does thisfunction represent exponential growth or decay?*The percent rate of change is 15% and this represents exponential decay.The percent rate of change is 85% and this represents exponential decay.The percent rate of change is 85% and this represents exponential growth.The percent rate of change is 15% and this represents exponential growth.

We can write the function in another way:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=1.15\cdot x=(1+0.15)\cdot x \\ f(x)=x+0.15\cdot x=x+(15)/(100)x \end{gathered}

We can see that the function is an exponential growth with a 15% of rate.
