dWIL Jdle At a fabric store, fabrics are so {12} x + y = 5 17x + 4y = 46 ) A dressmaker spent $46 on 5 fabrics for a dress. Silk is $17 $4 per yard. Here is a system of equations constraints in the situation. Find the solution to the system of equations. Write it as an ordered pair below. Use the graphing calculator on the next screen to help. Enter each equation on a separate line on the left-hand side to see their graphs.

If you make a graph of the system (as it is said on the question) you should get somethig like this. The solution of a system of equations is the point (x,y) where the graph of each of the equations meet.

For this problem, the solution is: (2,3)

It means that the dressmaker bought 2 yards of silk and 3 yards of cotton.
