We have:

vi = initial velocity = 25 m/s

a = acceleration = 3 m/s^2

t =time = 3 s

vf = final velocity = ?

Apply:

a=((vf-vi))/(t)

Isolate vf

vf=at+vi

Replacing:

vf=3\text{ }m/s^(^2)(3s)+25m/s
vf=34\text{ m/s}

Answer: 34 m/s
