Genetic information

Cells do not produce the whole set of proteins for which the DNA codes for, but different types of cells in multicellular organisms translate different subsets of proteins that gives them their specific structure and allows them to fullfil certain functions, which allows the division of tasks and specialization of different set of cells that organize into tissues and organs to function as a whole system.
