RULES

The necessary translation rules for the required translation are given below:

1) Translation to the right by c units:

(x,y)\to(x+c,y)

2) Translation up by d units:

(x,y)\to(x,y+d)

SOLUTION

The point to be transformed is given to be:

(2,-7)

Translation to the right by 4 units will make the coordinates become:

(2,-7)\to(2+4,-7)=(6,-7)

Translation up by 3 units will be:

(6,-7)\to(6,-7+3)=(6,-4)

The image point will be:

(6,-4)
