Given the inequality:


y<-4x-6

First, we will graph the line y = -4x - 6

We will graph the line using the intercepts:

when x = 0, y = -6

when y = 0, x = -6/4 = -3/2

so, the line passes through the points (0, -6) and (-3/2, 0)

The line will be dashed line because the inequality sign (<)

We will check which side will be shaded using the test point (0, 0)

So, the shaded zone doesn't contain the point (0,0)
