(x_m,y_m)=((x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2))

This gives the coordinates of the midpoint on the line, we know the midpoint and the one starting point of the line, we have to just find the end point using the equation above.

Next, i am going to plug in the known nymbers in the equation and solve for the unknowns.

(2,1)\text{ = (}(1+x_2)/(2),(4+y_2)/(2)\text{)}
2\text{ = }(1+x_2)/(2)\rightarrow\therefore x_2=3^{_{}}
1\text{ = }(4+y_2)/(2)\therefore\rightarrow y_2=-2
(x_2,y_2)=(3,-2)\rightarrow_{}

end coordinates for k
