The previous length is 50 ft and the previous width is 30 ft.

The new length is two times the previous one that is 100 ft and the new width is two times the previous one that 60 ft.

So, the new area of the patio is 100 X 60 = 6000 ft^2.

The area of the new patio is 4 times the area of the current patio.

Make the new width 3 times the current patio.
