Number of people / area = population density

Number of people/ population density = area

Replacing with the values given:

200,000 / area = 1650

Solving for the area:

200,000/1650 = area

121.12 km2 = area

since it's a square region:

Area of a square = Side length^2

Replacing with the values obtained:

121.12 = s^2

Solving for s (side)

√121.12 = s

s = 11 km
