You need to find a common denominator.

The LCD (lowest common denominator) is 18.

What you do to the bottom you have to do to the top.

So,

`(1 x 9)/(2 x 9) = (9)/(18)`

Do it for both fractions!!!!

`(5 x 2)/(9 x 2) = (10)/(18)`

Now add them both,

`(9)/(18) +(10)/(18)= (19)/(18)` =
`1(1)/(18)`

So therefore in is greater than one.
