Divide the length of the object on the drawing by its actual size to find the scale:


\frac{2\text{ inches}}{18\text{ feet}}

Since each feet has 12 inches:


\frac{2\text{ inches}}{18\text{ feet}}=\frac{2\text{ inches}}{18\cdot12\text{ inches}}=(2)/(216)=(1)/(108)
