The value of x based on the diagram is 5. option A.

What is the value of x?

From the diagram;

Angle A = 7x°

Angle B = 90°

Angle C = 11x° ( vertical opposite angles are equal)

The sum of angles in a triangle is 90°

7x + 90 + 11x = 180°

18x + 90 = 180

18x = 180 - 90

18x = 90

Divide both sides by 18

x = 90/18

x = 5

Therefore, x equals 5.

If lines A and B are parallel, what is the value of x? a) 5 b) 10 c) 35 d) 55-example-1
