occupied 915 cm³. Calculate the vapour density of the gas.

vapour density at s.t.p is calculated by dividing mass/volume.

1.76 g / 915 cm³ = 0.00192 g/cm³

or 915 cm³ = 915 ml = 0.915 L

therefore 1.76 g / 0.915 L = 1.92 g/L
