a) The graph at the top is the cheetah

b) The distance of Cheetah is 480 m

c) The distance of Gazelle is 320 m

d) The difference is 160 m

What does the speed time graph mean?

A speed-time graph, also known as a velocity-time graph, illustrates the relationship between an object's speed (or velocity) and time. In such a graph, the horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis represents speed or velocity.

For Cheetah;

Distance = speed * time

= 30 m/s * 16 s

= 480 m

For Gazelle;

Distance = speed * time

=20 m/s * 16s

= 320 m

Difference in distance = 480 m - 320 m

= 160 m
