Explanation:

First we need to work out the volume of the pool.

We divide it into a rectangular prism and a prism where one pair of opposite sides are a triangle

Volume of the rectangular prism

= 1 *15 * 10 = 150 m^3.

Volume of the triangular prism

= area of triangular side * width

= 1/2 * (15 - 6) * (2 - 1) * 10

= 45 m^3.

So the total volume = 195 m^3.

195 m*3 = 195,000 litres.

So time taken ot fill the pool

= 195000 / 50 mins

= 3900 mins

= 65 hours.
