Our answer is (14,11).

\Large\texttt{Explanation}

We are asked to find the new coordinates of the point (7,8) after it's been translated 6 units to the right & 3 units down.

If we're translating a point 7 units to the right, we add 7 to the x-coordinate. For this point, the x-coordinate is 7.

Perform the operation:

7 + 7 = 14

So, the coordinates are (14,8).

Then we also translate the point 3 units up. When we're translating a point y units up, we add y to the y-coordinate; for this problem the y-coordinate is 8. Since we're translating the point 3 units up, we add 3 to the y-coordinate. We get 11.

\therefore Our new coordinates are (14,11).
