In your own words, explain the role of genes and how they are inherited. Then, share your thoughts about the implications of changing human genes. How could it affect future generations and/or if you think we should be tampering with the human genome in any way? Why or why not?

Genes are your specific characteristics that make who you really are. They are inherited through passing on offspring, which is why you can hear things such as “You’ve got your mom’s nose” or “You’ve got your dad’s eyes.” Its because your parents have passed those genes down onto you. Tampering with those said genes could create problems. Either you can form a kind of disability or have your life in danger perhaps. If you were to tamper with your genes, it could affect your future generations as well, as it could cause some problems. You shouldn’t be tampering with it because it could cause some serious damage to yourself and others, so learn to enjoy what you have!
