Answer:

F(x) = (x - 6)(x - 10) = x² - 16x + 60

= (x² - 16x + 64) - 4

= (x - 8)² - 4

Vertex of F(x): (8, -4)

G(x) = a(x - 4)² -8

G(6) = a(2²) - 8 = -6

4a - 8 = -6

4a = 2

a = 1/2

G(x) = (1/2)(x - 4)² - 8

Vertex of G(x): (4, -8)

The y-coordinate of F(x) is greater than the y-coordinate of G(x).
