x² + y² = 18

x - 2y = -3

(2y - 3)² + y² = 18

4y² - 12y + 9 + y² = 18

5y² - 12y - 9 = 0

(5y + 3)(y - 3) = 0

y = -3/5, 3

y = -3/5 = -.6, x = -21/5 = -4.2

y = 3, x = 3
