To figure this out, you need to set both of those values equal to eachother. This is because of those lines were to be parallel, those would be corresponding angles therefore equal to eachother. Then 11x-25=7x+35. This will turn into after subtraction 4x=60 so x=15. For question 20b I think it’s “if parallel lines, corresponding angles are congruent.” Hope this helped!

Answer: x = 15

Step-by-step explanation: for them to be parallel they need to have the same angle so that means they would have to be equal to each other. So you would have to set the expressions equal to each other.

11x-25 = 7x+35

Subtract 7x from both sides and add 25 on both sides ( it's easier this way because it keeps everything positive) which would leave yo with

4x = 60

Then you would divide both side by 4 and get

x = 15
