Explanation:

to give a little bit of a different view :

the filing ratio is

25/1 liters/minute

so, we want to know the x in

5000/x liters/minute

while keeping the original ratio.

so,

5000/x = 25/1 = 25

5000 = 25x

x = 5000/25 = 200 minutes

1 hour = 60 minutes.

so, how many hours are 200 minutes ?

200 / 60 = 3.333333333333... hours

≈ 3.33 hours

Answer:

soln

in 1 min. =25 liters of water

so, in 1/25 min. = 1 liter

now, 1/25×5000 min. = 5000 liters

or, 200 min. = 5000liters

or, 200/60 hours= 5000 liters

3.33hours= 5000 liters.
