Assume five coins are tossed, and we're trying to figure out how many tails will appear. Let's use the letter T to denote the number of tails that will emerge. Find the values of a random variable called T.

The probability (P) can be gotten as follows:

P=\frac{number\text{ of favorable outcomes}}{total\text{ number of outcomes}}

Each coin has a 1/2 = 0.5 probability of getting a tail. Thus, to get the probability of the 5 coins is:

(1)/(2)*(1)/(2)*(1)/(2)*(1)/(2)*(1)/(2)=(1)/(32)=0.0313

Then the probability for a tail to emerge
