to get the volume of a sphere the formula is:

V=4 /3πr3

(remember basketball isn't a circle because it is 3-d)

you plug in the radius to that formula and boom you got your answer!

(remember radius is half the diameter, and half of 9 is 4.5)

so your answer would be:

381.7

Answer: v=43πr3 where r is the radius. You have the diameter, that is the double of the radius, so r=92=4.5 inches. v=43π4.53=381.69 cubic inches.
